No 50..No Money: Young Buck's Home Raided by Shotgun-Toting Feds

Young Buck's Tennessee home was just ransacked by several armed federal agents ... TMZ has learned -- and it was all over $300,000 in allegedly unpaid taxes.

According to Young's rep, IRS agents rolled up to the platinum-selling rapper's house in Nashville this morning to go on a repossession rampage over the alleged tax debt -- seizing assets like recording equipment, jewelry, furniture, his platinum wall plaques ... and even his kids' PlayStation.

The rep tells us, the feds in question were packing heat -- in the form of a shotgun -- and warned Buck not to interfere with the raid.

As for how he fell so far behind in debt, the former G-Unit member tells us, "This IRS situation came about because I trusted accountants, lawyers, and managers to handle my business for me while I focused on making music. From now on, I am going to stay on top of my own business."

Spectacular Northern Lights Show Signals Sun Is Waking Up

Skywatchers at high latitudes could be in for a spectacular treat of northern lights, the aurora borealis, Tuesday and Wednesday: After a relatively quiet stretch, it appears the sun is ramping up its activity.

The sun's surface erupted early Sunday, blasting - tons of plasma (ionized atoms) into space. These atoms are headed toward Earth and could create a stunning light show in the process.


"This eruption is directed right at us and is expected to get here early in the day on Aug. 4th," said Leon Golub of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. "It's the first major Earth-directed eruption in quite some time."

The solar eruption, called a coronal mass ejection, was spotted by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory , which captures high-definition views of the sun at a variety of wavelengths. SDO was launched in February and peers deep into the layers of the sun, investigating the mysteries of its inner workings.

"We got a beautiful view of this eruption," Golub said. "And there might be more beautiful views to come if it triggers aurorae."

Views of aurorae are usually associated with Canada and Alaska, but even skywatchers in the northern U.S. mainland are being told they can look toward the north Tuesday and Wednesday evenings for rippling "curtains" of green and red light.

When a coronal mass ejection reaches Earth, solar particles stream down our planet's magnetic field lines toward the poles. In the process, the particles collide with atoms of nitrogen and oxygen in the Earth's atmosphere, which then glow, creating an effect similar to miniature neon signs.

The interaction of the solar particles with our planet's magnetic field has the potential to create geomagnetic storms, or disturbances in Earth's magnetosphere. And while aurorae are normally visible only at high latitudes, they can light up the sky even at lower latitudes during a geomagnetic storm.

The sun's activity usually ebbs and flows on a fairly predictable cycle. Typically, a cycle lasts about 11 years, taking roughly 5.5 years to move from a solar minimum, a period of time when there are few sunspots, to peak at the solar maximum, during which sunspot activity is amplified.

The last solar maximum occurred in 2001. The latest minimum was particularly weak and long- lasting. The most recent solar eruption is one of the first signs that the sun is waking up and heading toward another maximum.

Will.I.AM Opposes New Michael Jackson Album

A new Michael Jackson album is expected by the end of the year, culled from unreleased material in his vaults. But Jackson collaborator and Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am is vehemently opposed to the idea.

"I don't think that should ever come out. That's bad," he said. "He was a perfectionist and he wouldn't have wanted it that way. How you gonna release Michael Jackson when Michael Jackson ain't here to bless it?"

Will.i.am collaborated with Jackson on the rerelease of "Thriller" in 2008 with remixed versions of some of the album's classic songs. He said Jackson was very particular about all aspects of his musical productions, from his vocals to arrangements to instrumentation.

"Now that he is not part of the process, what are they doing? Why would you put a record out like that? Because he was a friend of mine, I just think that's disrespectful," he said. "What's wrong with what he already contributed to the world?"

The Jackson estate did not respond to a request for comment.

When asked about the high demand for any new Jackson music, will.i.am replied: "So what? You don't disrespect someone when they're gone. ... How much can you suck from his energy? ... Freaking parasites!"

Not much is known about what will be on the album, but Michael's brother Jackie has said he and brother Marlon were working on the record with John McClain, Jackson's former manager and executor of his estate.

Lindsay Lohan Released From Jail After Serving 13 Days Of 90 Day Sentence

After 13 days behind bars, Lindsay Lohan was released from the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif., around 1:35 a.m. Monday.

Lohan, 24, now is in rehab. Though she was originally set to spend three months at high-end residential facility Morningside Recovery in Orange County, Calif., she will report to the UCLA Medical Center, according to TMZ.

After she completes treatment, the actress will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing until Aug. 2011, when her probation term ends. She is still allowed to take certain prescription medications.

Lohan had been behind bars since July 20 for violating probation in her DUI case. (She was originally sentenced to 90 days but was released early due to good behavior and overcrowding.)

Her time in the slammer was fraught with drama.

When she was first taken to her 12-by-8 cell, she was "crying," said Alexis Neiers (of E!'s Pretty Wild), who was in jail at the same time for burglarizing Orlando Bloom's home.

"She was talking to deputies and, you know just trying to — I couldn't really like make it out - but from what I saw the first day, I mean, she was lying in there and just trying to like calm down," she said.

Though some inmates claimed the actress was receiving special treatment, her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley told UsMagazine.com that was not the case and that Lohan had even "made some friends."

Her mother Dina was most outspoken about her daughter's time behind bars.

"She doesn't have cell phone privileges, that's absurd," she said. "She doesn't even have a pillow to sleep on. I talk to her through glass. There's a phone and we put her on speaker but I can't even hug my daughter ... She's treated like a common criminal." UsMagazine.com

Its been a wild week of weddings. We've seen T.I, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Supermodel Miranda Kerr, and even Bill Clinton's daughter Chelsea tie the knot...not all to each other of course lol.

According to news wire WENN: Parents-to-be ALICIA KEYS and rap producer SWIZZ BEATZ have married in a ceremony in Corsica, France.

The No One hitmaker, who is pregnant with the couple's first child, walked down the aisle on Saturday (31Jul10) in front of family, friends and A-list stars including U2 rocker Bono and Queen Latifah.

Keys looked radiant in a flowing white gown and headband, while the groom wore a white tuxedo jacket, pink shirt and bow tie for their big day.

The nuptials on the Mediterranean island proved to be a relaxed affair - Keys showed off her baby bump in a bikini while enjoying a dip in the pool before exchanging vows.

The singer announced her pregnancy and engagement to Beatz in May (10) and their first child is due later this year (10).

Singer Ne-Yo Tired Of Persistent Rumors That He's A Homosexual

Superstar singer/songwriter/actor, Ne-Yo is enjoying a tremendously successful career. His three solo albums, 'In My Own Words', 'Because Of You' and 'Year Of The Gentleman' are all certified platinum.

His private life seems to be going great at the moment as well. His girlfriend, Monyetta Shaw is expecting the couple's first child in January 2011.

There is one problem however, that just won't go away. For some reason Ne-yo has been dogged by rumors that he is gay. Despite the fact that there is no proof and the singer has had well publicized relationships with women, the rumor still persists.

Ne-Yo spoke with Fox All Access host, Chris Leary recently and addressed the issue.

"There's one rumor that for whatever reason, will not die. I'm convinced that it's just because they really can't figure out anything else to say about me. Which kinda doesn't make any sense because if you really just wanted to talk bad about me you could," the singer says.

"But there's this whole gay thing that keeps following me around. [People think] Anybody that sings and has a penis is gay. So I'm part of that elite squad, according to multiple blog sites and whatnot. I guess it's because I've never shot a person, or talked about shooting a person or had a desire to shoot a person...that I'm gay."

New Michael Jackson Album In November

So Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins was pretty much spot on. A rep for Michael Jackson Estate has exclusively revealed to Rolling Stone that a new album featuring 10 never heard before songs will be out in November this year. These tracks may be from his recording sessions in the 80s or the newer material that he was working on with Akon, Will.i.am and Ne-Yo just before his shocking death. It is estimated that Jackson’s vaults contain more than 100 completed and unreleased songs.
