Peyton Hillis Beats Out Michael Vick For Madden 12 Cover

After 13 million votes a winner has been named.

Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis beat out Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick for the Madden 12 cover.

It's a nice win for Hillis, who until this past NFL season was an afterthought. That's before he earned the starting job for the Browns and ran for 1,177 yards and 11 touchdowns.

He thanked the Browns' fans after learning he had won.

"I just want to tell them thanks and I'm going to play my best for them," Hillis said.

Vick was humble in defeat, saying he was happy for Hillis and he was just glad to be there.

"My fans, they stuck in there," Vick said. "I made it this far and that’s a plus for me."
