Forest Whittaker joins 50 Cent's Movie “Things Fall Apart”

Rapper/Actor Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson is filming his new Movie "Things Fall Apart" in Grand Rapids. Now there are the first news from the Movie set.

HollywoodToday reports that Forest Whittaker just joined the cast.

Also on the cast is Cedric Sanders ("American Gangsta"), he is playing the role of 50 Cent's characters brother and actress Lynn Whitfield plays the mom.

50 Cent said: "Cedric’s character of my brother is practical, awkward, book smart, and has lived in the shadows of his older brother his whole life. When tragedy strikes, the relationship between the two brothers really transforms.”

Cedric Sanders admires 50 Cent's dedication to his character: "We’d have a break from rehearsals and he [50 Cent] would immediately head outside to workout. Very impressive."

The Film is produced by 50 Cent's own company Cheetah Vision Films. The story centers around a high school football star (played by Curtis Jackson) who's career tragically jeopardized.
