While at the "W Midtown Hotel" in ATL for her birthday celebration, Lashawna Threatt (30) was "play" wrestling with a friend when they went crashing through the 10th floor window of their hotel room. Threatt fell 5 stories to her death. She was found on a sun room roof below the room. Her friend was found not much farther away from her on an outdoor patio. Threatt was pronounced dead on Saturday, while the friend identified as Ciara Williams was taken to a local hospital where she is listed in critical condition. Passionate Chonvill, a friend of both ladies said "They had just gotten in the hotel and were having a good time, my friends who were there said it was so random. They literally just fell out the window. They are two small girls and I am trying to figure out how the hell, two small girls could break a window like that."
Threatt was an up and coming video and promotional model, she leaves behind her 15 year old daughter. The police says that there is no expected foul play, it is just an unfortunate accident. Paul Guerrucci, commander of the Atlanta Police Department's homicide unit, said "They were play wrestling and the next thing you know, they went toward the window and through the window and out they went."
