XXL Ranks Dr Dre's “Nothin’ But A G Thang" # 1 On Their List Of Top 250 Hip Hop Songs Of The 90's

In an upcoming special issue XXL will take on the tough task of ranking the top 250 rap songs of the 90's.

Dr Dre's "Nothin' But A G Thang" which featured Snoop Dogg takes the # 1 spot. Diddy's "All About The Benjamins" remix with it's all star line up of Notorious B.I.G., The Lox and Lil Kim come in at # 2.

Other songs that made the list according to MTV include 2Pac's "California Love" (# 7), Pete Rock and CL Smooth’s “They Reminisce Over You” (# 10), Ice Cube’s “No Vaseline” (# 58), and Scarface's "I Never Seen A Man Die" (# 99).

The criteria used to rank the songs is not known.The one thing we can all agree on is that there are bound to be a lot of disagreements among fans regarding the rankings.
